Today’s update sees a new Stationary Gun as well as some bigger balancing changes. Last week’s  Stationary Nebula Cannon is still generating lots of steam on Storm Lands, yet your tireless faction engineers get ready to present their fourth effort:

Enter the Stationary Nitro Gun.

This destructive marvel is a whopping 30% stronger than the regular Stationary Gun, and just like other Stationary Guns it does not need to be refilled with ammunition to pulverize your opponents. How great is that?

As soon as you have placed a Stationary Gun, it will become active and carry out autonomous attacks on enemy units in range. For every unit destroyed the gun’s owner will receive a bonus! If however the gun is destroyed in battle, the victorious attacker will receive a bonus instead.

Striking the Balance

With this update we introduce a number of changes targeting combat balance on the “Storm Lands” map:

  • Players of weaker factions gain higher rewards than players of factions that already have a strong presence on the map.
  • Players of weaker factions are also provided with additional Armor Modules.
  • Switching to a weaker faction is now a lot cheaper than switching to a stronger faction.
  • The “Storm Lands” map can now be entered as soon as players reach Level 3.

Bug. Fixed.

Last but not least we have eradicated a nasty bug that may have prevented some players from entering the game last week.
